We understand that the freedom & flexibility of running is why we all fell in love with it. But there are times when we could all do with a bit of structure & the sense of feeling that we are not out there alone.
‘the kilometre club’ is your running community.

So it took me a while to be brave and actually join KMC! I’ve always ran on my own and I didn’t know anyone before. But I can honestly say it’s the best thing I’ve done this year. I’ve met the most amazing people and friends for life. It’s more of a family than a club and something I look forward to going to every time. I feel like it really helped me at a time I needed it💛
I joined KMC to meet likeminded people in Chester and to improve my running fitness. Since joining, my running fitness has massively improved and I now really enjoy it (as opposed to it feeling like a chore!). The people are great – so welcoming and friendly – it is like a community!
Everything about the Kilometre Club is amazing… A great community of like minded people and some really good affiliations / benefits to go along with membership. The head coach Kieran also offers 1-2-1 coaching plans, which are excellent to keep you accountable and get that PB!
Kilometre Club is the best running club in Chester. Kieran and everyone are so friendly. Kieran ensures every run is suitable for runners of all abilities and experience and always has a good schedule lined up. I wouldn’t want to run with any other club!
The KMC is brilliant. I was fairly new to running when I joined about 9 months ago and I’m definitely hooked now. The runs are well organised, full of friendly faces and varied enough in the week to keep it fresh. Particular favourites are 6k @6am and the track sessions
I joined KMC as I was new to Chester and wanted an organic way to meet new people whilst staying accountable to my running habit, and I am so thankful I did. I can genuinely say I have made friends for life at the club! Yes, it’s scary to rock up when you don’t know anyone, but everyone is super friendly and regardless of your pace (I’m a slow runner), you’ll be made to feel welcome!
I signed up to the KMC through the recommendation of a friend. I would never have thought then what a cataclysmic influence it would have on my health & personal life.
It’s truly amazing how many events The Kilometre Club offers its members each month. Even those with the busiest of schedules can probably make at least one of the three runs a week. There’s a Tuesday 6k at 6am for hardy runners, a Wednesday evening meet-up, and a Sunday social run – which is always followed by coffee! The people are friendly and kind, and hugely supportive.
